Scottsdale Country Club
Master Plan
The goal of the Scottsdale Country Club Master Plan was to revitalize the historic course while preserving its significance to the Scottsdale community. With a personal connection to the property, architect Forrest Richardson was brought on to help guide the next chapter of a course that has been a longtime part of the local golf landscape.
Palicki Golf Design assisted Forrest Richardson Golf Course Architects with the development of a comprehensive master plan addressing improvements to the championship course, practice facilities, short-course, and surrounding property. The plan explored opportunities including a new short-course experience, updated practice areas, subtle course routing adjustments, new tees, refined bunkering, fairway realignment, expanded greens, and infrastructure improvements.
The resulting vision balances respect for the course’s history with thoughtful updates for the future, creating a more engaging, sustainable, and complete golf experience while guiding the long-term evolution of the property.
