Palicki Golf Design assisted Randy Vaught of Golf Construction Associates during Phase 3 of the greenside bunker renovation project at Belterra Golf Club, improving the performance and long-term maintenance of 12 deteriorated greenside bunkers. The project utilized the Better Billy Bunker system to upgrade drainage infrastructure, improve sand performance, and extend the longevity of the renovated features.

Working closely with the Belterra maintenance team, the project also addressed ongoing maintenance challenges by lowering bunker edges to reduce excessive sand exposure and incorporating zoysia grass in surrounding areas to improve durability and reduce upkeep. With no major design changes to the existing bunker concepts, improvements were guided by maintenance needs and practical construction considerations.
