New Course Construction

Palicki Golf Design assisted Randy Vaught of Golf Construction Associates with construction efforts at Veterans Club, a new-build golf course located east of Cincinnati, Ohio. Built on a reclaimed gravel mine, the project is transforming a former industrial site into a unique private-golf destination centered around the property’s natural features, including a 35-acre lake created within the former gravel pit and the Little Miami River, which separates the front and back nines.

Palicki Golf Design has assisted with the physical construction of the course, including golf feature construction, drainage installation, earthwork operations, green construction, bunker construction, and other field-based implementation efforts. This experience has provided direct involvement in the methods, sequencing, and challenges associated with building a golf course from the ground up.

Spanning 265 acres, Veterans Club represents a unique opportunity to transform a reclaimed landscape into a distinctive golf experience, with construction currently progressing.
